  2. Diploma in Public Administration (DPA) affiliate of UG, Legon
  3. Diploma in Business Studies(DBS)
  4. Diploma in Public Finance and Accounting (DIPFA) affiliate of UG, Legon

ADMISSION

REQUIREMENT

1. Dip. In Pub. Finance & Accounting (DIPFA)

    and

2. Dip. In Pub. Administration (DPA)

    (These programmes are affiliated to the

    University of Ghana)

 

 

SSSCE: Credit passes (A-D) in (3) subjects including English and Maths and 2 electives with aggregate 20 or better.

WASSCE: Credit passes (A1-C6) in (3) core subjects including English and Maths with an aggregate of 30 or better.

 

3. Dip. In Pub. Finance and Accountancy (DPFA)

    (Awarded by the GES)

 

SSSCE:   Five (5) passes including credits in English and Maths with aggregate 25 or better.

WASSCE:   Five (5) passes including English and Maths with aggregate 30 or better

 

GCE O/A LEVELS:   Five (5) GCE O/L credits including English and Maths plus (2) A/L passes.

 

Senior Entrants and Access Course available.

 

4. Diploma in Business Studies (Accounting/Secretarial/Management/Marketing)

 

GCE O/L/GBCE/RSA/LCC Applicants

GCE O/L:  (4) passes including English and a numerate subject.

 

WASSCE/SSSCE:  (4) credits including core Maths and English.

 

Mature applicants must be 25yrs with a pass in English.

EXEMPTIONS/PROGRAMMES

Holders of DPFA are exempted from:

  1. Parts 1 and 2 of Accounting Technicians Scheme of West Africa (ATSWA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Gh) ICA and writes only Part 3 to qualify
  2. Foundation Level of CIPFA UK
  3. Part l of CIMA and
  4. Holders of DBS are exempted from Part 1 of ATSWA to write Parts 2 & 3.
  5. Holders of DPA and DIPFA may continue on a degree with the University of Ghana Business School.
  6. Holders of DBS are exempted from Level l of (ASTWA) to write Level ll & lll

MODULES

Daytime:

7.30 – 4 pm

 

Evening:

4.30 – 8.30 pm

 

Week-end:

Friday – Sunday

ACADEMIC CALENDAR:

  1. Application Forms are sold by April each year
  2. Access Course is organized for those with one or   two deficiencies.
  3. Interviews by August
  4. Admission by August/September
